During the first three months of this year, The Trans-Anatolian Gas Pipeline (TANAP) transported 1.4 billion cubic meters of gas to Turkey, Report. az informs, citing the Ministry of Energy.

During this period, Azerbaijan exported 3 billion cubic meters of gas to Turkey, which is 15.8% more than exported volumes in 2020.

Natural gas from Azerbaijan's Shah Deniz field is delivered to Turkey via the South Caucasus Pipeline (Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum) and TANAP. The first gas entered the Turkish market via the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline in 2007. The supply of commercial gas to Turkey via TANAP began on June 30, 2018.

In the first three months of 2021, around 1.1 bln CBM of Azerbaijani gas was transported to Europe.

It is noteworthy that Turkey and European countries are supplied by Azerbaijani gas through Georgia.
