In order to supply fuel to the compressor stations, TAP is announcing a tender for the purchase of gas. According to the tender conditions, the delivery period is from October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2022. Delivery points are: Melendugno, Italy, Snam Rete Gas re-delivery point in Melendugno, which is the connection point of Nea Mesimvria in Greece, and Virtual trading point TAP (VTP)
TAP held the first tender in June 2020.
In April of 2021, the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) carried 42% more gas than in March. In April, trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) supplies from Azerbaijan increased by 77%. Up to 26 million cubic meters are delivered daily from the Kipoi entry point on the Turkish-Greek border. Most of the gas goes to Italy. Last week there was a supply of about 22 million cubic meters per day, while in Greece it was about 4 million cubic meters.
TAP transports natural gas from the Shah Deniz field to Europe. The 878-kilometer-long Kipoi pipeline connects the Turkish-Greek border with the Trans-Anatolian Pipeline and runs through Greece, Albania, and the Adriatic Sea to southern Italy.
