In January-June 2020, tea imports from Azerbaijan to Georgia increased by 10.8% than in Jan – June 2019, the National Statistics Office of Georgia reports.
In the half of 2020, Azerbaijan imported 382.8 tonnes of tea to Georgia (under the trademark 0902 - tea with or without flavoring additives) of 2,323.9 thousand USD.
In January-June 2019, 343.4 tonnes of tea were imported from Azerbaijan to Georgia in the amount of USD 2,097.1 thousand.
An increase in the import of Azerbaijani tea to Georgia was also observed in the first four months of 2020.
Notably, in the first half of 2020, imports of goods from Azerbaijan to Georgia decreased by 16.9% from an annual point of view.
