Tengiz Tsertsvadze, the head of Tbilisi's infectious diseases, Aids and immunology research centre, has thanked President Salome Zurabishvili in his public post.
"Your Excellency Madam President, I express my deepest gratitude for your attention and support, as well as the positive evaluation of my modest contributions. I reaffirm my deepest respect for your immensely important mission for the wellbeing of Georgia and the Georgian people.
Today, our country faces the greatest challenges, including the pandemic, and your role as a president and a person in successfully handling these challenges is significant," Tsertsvadze wrote.
Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili wished a rapid recovery to Mr. Tsertsvadze, who had tested positive for COVID-19.
