During the state of emergency in Georgia, mandatory technical inspections were postponed for vehicle owners.
They are required to pass it until July 21.
As Vazha Iordanishvili, Head of the Association of Automobile Inspection Authorities explained Report.ge, the inspection was mandatory for everyone from May 22. But the car owners who had to undergo periodic technical examination during the state of emergency (from March 22 to May 22) were delayed for two months - until July 22.
All other vehicles will undergo technical inspection by the standard schedule established for them. The Association of Automobile Inspection Authorities reported that, according to a government decree, some changes were made to the inspection procedure.
The age limit was set for car tires - up to 10 years.
If the windshield of a car has no more than three-point damages measuring no more than five mm, this defect can be corrected before the next technical inspection.
