The government is planning to increase costs by 221 million GEL. The government has already submitted a plan of amendment of the country's main financial document to the Parliament.
The change will also apply to the amount of appropriations allocated to the budget of administration of the President of Georgia, which will increase by GEL 2.2 million and have the sum of GEL 8.2 million in total.
According to the budget explanatory note, the President of Georgia needs additional spending to fund visits and events.
“Approved appropriations of the Administration of the President of Georgia increased by GEL 2.2 million, in total GEL 8.2 million. This increase is due to the dynamics of the administration's operating costs this year", the 2019 budget amendment project narrative reads.
