The third coronavirus infection case is confirmed in Georgia. Amiran Gamrelidze, the Head of CCD, informs.
“The third case of coronavirus has been confirmed today. It is our citizen who traveled to Iran and was in contact with the first proved case. These two persons traveled to Iran together. Both of them returned back via the Azerbaijanian border. He entered Georgia yesterday with a high temperature. He is placed in the Infectious Disease Hospital. His lab test confirmed coronavirus.” – Amiran Gamkrelidze said.
The first case of coronavirus infection was registered on February 26. The second case – on February 28.
