Today, Vladimer Khundadze, the Deputy Head of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, and Zurab Sichinava, the Head of the Customs Department, held a working meeting with Javad Gasimov, the Deputy Chairperson of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The main topic of the meeting was the construction of a new joint Georgian-Azerbaijani customs checkpoint, although the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway was also discussed.
Within the framework of this railway project, a tripartite agreement on cooperation between Georgia, Turkey, and the Republic of Azerbaijan was also discussed.
