The Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov met with a delegation led by Oleksii Reznikov, the Deputy Prime Minister, and the Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, the Embassy of Ukraine in Azerbaijan reveals.
The sides noted that Ukraine and Azerbaijan's strategic partnership covers the entire spectrum of cooperation in the economic sphere. According to them, the exchange of experience on the reintegration and economic development of the de-occupied territories is an important prerequisite for creating additional opportunities for deepening all bilateral cooperation areas in the long term. It was stressed that government organizations and private companies of Ukraine are ready to participate in the implementation of targeted projects to restore the infrastructure of Azerbaijan's liberated regions, which implies the establishment of a joint venture and industrial cooperation in all strategically important sectors of the Ukrainian and Azerbaijani economies.
It was also noted that the interaction at the intergovernmental level provides a reliable basis for foreign trade operations, strengthening investment activities, and implementing functional or sectoral projects. The main task named was increasing the quantitative indicators of trade and economic cooperation and the quality of services for the business environment in both countries.
