U.S. President Joe Biden has unveiled a $ 2.3 trillion investment plan for U.S. infrastructure development. It is the biggest investment since World War II and to create an unprecedented number of American jobs.
The plan envisages the modernization of 32,000 km of roads and about 10,000 bridges, the renewal of public transport, and the creation of a network of power charging stations for electric vehicles. Approximately $ 621 billion of the indicated amount will be spent for these purposes. $ 111 billion has been allocated to replace the sewer system. Another $ 100 billion will be spent on broadband internet development. Finally, $ 100 billion is needed to upgrade the power grid.
