"We are actively working on our final plan together with the tourism sector to introduce Georgia to the entire world as a safe host country," Minister of Economy Natia Turnava told representatives of the tourism sector after the business meeting.
The minister said that assisting the tourism industry is paramount to overcome the coronavirus crisis.
"As you know, the procedures established for tourists to enter Georgia has been reconsidered and relaxed; we are now expecting vaccinated tourists and those who have been subjected to PCR tests," Turnava declared.
In Turnava's words, working meetings with the tourism sector will be continued to formulate the final plan for the revitalization of tourism.
