As part of the cheap agro-diesel government program, the rule according to which all farmers can cash out e 20% of their discount fuel cards until July 1.
The fuel minimum is 200 liters.
If the volume of diesel to be received is less than 100 liters, farmers can fully enjoy the discount cards.
Starting July 1 to September 1, they will be able to cash out an additional 20% of the discount cards with no less than 300 liters.
From September 1, farmers will be able to use any number of discount fuel cards.
"Across Georgia, more than 60,000 beneficiaries have already received discount cards for more than 18,000 tonnes of diesel. The schedule, developed by the government and SOCAR, ensures issuing discount cards and diesel across Georgia," Ilia Tamarashvili, Director of the Agricultural and Rural Development Agency of Georgia, said.
As part of the program, discount fuel cards are issued to farmers in stages - in houses of justice and public centers (by appointment on the website my.gov.ge), as well as in regional services of the Agency for Rural and Agricultural Development of Georgia and information - Consultation centers of municipalities. Liberty Bank branches also issue the discount cards.
