As Georgia's Minister of Economy Natia Turnava said, the situation is 'very dynamic' that makes it impossible to identify the first tourism geographic area.
"We did our homework very well,'' Turnava said, adding that Georgia has focused on the countries which governed the epidemic well.
''Now, we expect several things: first, the European countries will consult with each other about the regime they should follow. More importantly, we expect the EU countries to develop a common approach to non-European countries to open their borders,'' Natia Turnava said, concluding that the EU decision regarding third countries will be ready by the end of June.
"We are optimistic because the epidemiological situation in the EU is stabilizing. Though it does not matter how much we want to resume tourism, we will not endanger our nationals' health," Turnava added.
