''The evaluation of risks and benefits tells us that suspension of flights is the most reasonable decision at the moment,'' Georgian Finance Minister Ivane Machavariani told reporters.
He says the traveling segment is currently inactive.
As Machavariani added, tourists arrived in Georgia mainly from neighboring countries where the epidemiological situation is not favorable.
In his words, the European tourists' share was not prominent in the total number of tourists.
As it was reported yesterday, Georgia would not open international tourism from July 1.
The government delayed the resumption of regular flights until the end of July.
Georgia lifted restrictions on domestic tourism on June 15.
