Acting Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava will meet with representatives of non-food trade facilities.
At the meeting, she will hear from the industry what guarantees they have and how they intend to manage the queues. The government will decide whether to open malls and markets only after a rational consideration of the issue.
"We have the first signs of the stabilization from the epidemiological point of view; we are cautious about these first positive signs, which is a direct result of the restrictions and, of course, the selfless work of our doctors. Now when mobility is reduced, the medical sector is more patiently serving patients. We care about this achievement, therefore, on the instructions of the Prime Minister, these days I will have a meeting with non-food outlets, we will talk very seriously, what guarantees they are willing to provide to manage the queues so that we do not throw away the gains that we have all brought together these days through our joint work and as a result of restrictions," Turnava said.
