G.B., born in 1983 arrested in Tbilisi on charges of attempted murder in the aggravating circumstances of a family member.
The investigation revealed that the defendant wounded his ex-wife T.E. on February 9 with a cold weapon and fled the scene.
Law enforcers found G.B., a few hours after the incident. Police seized the weapon - a knife as evidence.
The investigation is in progress under the second part of Article 19-109, subsection (v) of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which involves an attempted premeditated murder of a family member in aggravated circumstances.
The crime envisages from 13 to 17 years of imprisonment.
