The Prosecutor's Office has pressed charges against the accused, known as P.A., for driving the 11-year-old minor to suicide.
"After the corresponding investigative activities, it was learned that in the village of Dzevri, the Terjola municipality, intoxicated P.A. regularly offended and threatened his underage son A.A. Consequently, A.A. was under constant pressure and stress. On 23 August 2020, in his yard, A.A. was found hanged. Law enforcers detained P.A. that day," the statement by the Prosecutor's Office reads.
The accused is now facing the charges of subjecting a minor to domestic violence and driving him to suicide. The Prosecutor's Office will request that the corresponding remand measure be applied against the offender in the determined time frame.
The father of the 11-year-old was detained in Terjola for driving him to suicide.
