Information released by the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia says that Violeta Inasaridze, the doctor at Akhaltsikhe Imedi clinic, failed to give any medicine to nurse Megi Bakradze after her health condition deteriorated following the AstraZeneca shot. Furthermore, when Mrs. Bakradze was provided with emergency medical assistance, the doctor, who claimed she gave the patient adrenaline in seconds after her condition worsened, was not even present in the room.
However, Violeta Inasaridze alleged the opposite, saying that she ensured that the now late nurse received the required medical assistance after developing the anaphylactic shock.
Doctor Violeta Inasaridze, together with another doctor and a nurse, has been accused of giving false testimony to the police.
Megi Bakradze, a young nurse, 27, slipped into a coma after an AstraZeneca jab in the Akhaltsikhe municipality.
The nurse was taken to the First University clinic, Tbilisi, where she died.
Investigators are looking into her death.
