Law enforcement officers have detained previously convicted V.Kh. (DOB 1978) over an attempted robbery of the Bank of Georgia in Kutaisi municipality.
''Investigators have determined that the defendant has damaged several cash machines on Ilia Chavchavadze Street in Kutaisi municipality and attempted to rob the Bank of Georgia on the same street. However, the police detained him on the crime scene,'' the statement by the MIA reads.
The investigation is in progress, with the offender facing from three to seven years in prison.
Also, the windows of the Bank of Georgia have recently been broken on Chavchavadze Street into pieces in Kutaisi municipality, Georgia.
