Georgian Public Prosecutor's Office makes a statement on the covert videotaping related to Shakarashvili's case.
Covert investigation measures were applied in the accused persons' detention cells in the frames of the investigation of the current case.
"The videotaping materials are attached to the case of Giorgi Shakarashvili's murder. The mentioned secret materials were passed over only to the accused's defenders on September 3, 2020. Any interpretation related to the mentioned materials does not correspond to the true information"- the Prosecutor's statement reads.
The fragments of the mentioned materials were publicly demonstrated by TV Pirveli today.
