At trial, the parties presented their arguments remotely. Judge Nana Chalatashvili granted the prosecution's request and sentenced the defendant to three months in prison as a measure of restraint.

Appropriate examinations are scheduled to determine the cause of the death of a baby. The incident is being investigated under Article 126 Prima of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment for 4 to 6 years.
