According to the lawyer of one of the accused in the Shakarashvili case, Nikoloz Revazishvili, there has been no evidence or testimony that Giorgi Shakarashvili was killed for nine months.

According to Shota Kakhidze, none of the people interviewed during this time knows how and under what circumstances Giorgi Shakarashvili died.

"We have been talking for almost nine months that the evidence presented and investigated by the prosecution does not confirm the fact of the murder of Giorgi Shakarashvili. It is superfluous to talk about any crime committed by any person. You know that we interrogated dozens of witnesses, interrogated medical experts, interrogated investigators, and from the interrogated witnesses, no one knows how and under what circumstances Giorgi Shakarashvili died. From a legal point of view, there is no alternative to a verdict of acquittal," said Shota Kakhidze, Nikoloz Revazishvili's lawyer.

The verdict in the case of the premeditated murder of Giorgi Shakarashvili may be announced in the Mtskheta District Court today. At this trial, the parties will exercise their right of reply, and the defendants will have the final say, after which the court will convene for a verdict.
