Regarding the Giorgi Shakarashvili case, experts from the Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau were questioned in the Mtskheta District Court.
The experts had studied the injuries on Giorgi Shakarashvili's body.
The experts did not rule out that injuries to death could have occurred and developed due to Shakarashvili's fall from a height.
Simultaneously, injuries on the body could also derive from a collision with any object or thing.
Experts did not rule out that damage to Shakarashvili's body could have appeared due to a collision with various objects in the Aragvi River, Shota Kakhidze, the lawyer of one of the accused, told Report.ge.
"The experts studied only the place indicated by the investigators and did not examine adjacent areas. Therefore, they did not rule out the possibility of these injuries occurring elsewhere.
Therefore, the attempt of the Prosecutor's Office and others to present the examination results, proving that Giorgi Shakarashvili was subject to physical violence to death, was not confirmed during the court hearing," Shota Kakhidze told Report.ge.
