The Signaghi Regional Court has sent a man, 33, who has molested two 6-year-old children to jail for eight years. As per the case records, the defendant sexually abused his own niece and a neighbor.
The girls have been questioned in the presence of psychologists and social workers. The minors said that the man asked them to get naked and keep this fact under wraps. In their words, they frequently played hide-and-seek with him.
In court, the defendant used his right to silence. He has a prior criminal history and was previously kept behind bars for inappropriate sexual behavior for a year and a half. This time, however, he has to serve eight years in prison.
