The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation under Article 240 on the Vertkvichala case, which stipulates violation of safety rules during mining, construction, or other work.
One person died due to the collapse of a construction structure in the village of Vertkvichala, Kharagauli Municipality. The deceased is a citizen of Georgia and a local resident.
Six people have already been taken out of the collapsed construction; they have been placed in clinics with various injuries. The injured are Chinese citizens. The workshop, the construction of which collapsed, belongs to a Chinese company.
The construction made by the Iron workshop collapsed in Vertkvichala in the morning, probably due to heavy snow.
