The Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on the organizers of the protests in Batumi and Zugdidi, political leaders, and gathered citizens to observe the requirements of the law during the assembly and expression and to obey the lawful demands of the police.

According to the agency, the police detained two people in Zugdidi and four in Adjara on fact of disobeying the lawful request of the police.

"Protest rallies are being held in different cities of Georgia in parallel with the City Council sittings.
