Third President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili, who is now in Rustavi prison facility, has filed an official request to the head of the medical department of the penitentiary facility for taking a drug test.
According to ex-president Saakashvili's lawyer Nika Gvaramia, his client is ready to undergo any test publicly.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili has published the letter today in which he discussed different scenarios of the ex-president's arrival in Georgia. In Gharibashvili's words, Mikheil Saakashvili has developed a heavy drug addiction, which is why he failed to foresee the outcome of his decision to enter Georgia.
