The trial of Nika Melia, a member of the United National Movement, will be held at Tbilisi City Court today. The session is scheduled for 10:00.
Tbilisi City Court imposed GEL 30,000 bail on Nika Melia as a preventive measure on June 27.
Nika Melia was charged with violence during the June 20-21 Tbilisi events.
According to the decision of the City and Appeal Courts, Nika Melia is not allowed to leave his place of residence without the permission of the Prosecutor's Office.
Restriction also affected his parliamentary work. The deputy is monitored electronically and is wearing the appropriate bracelet.
