The officers of Didube-Chugureti Main Division of MIA, as a result of operative-investigative measures, detained I.V., born in 1999, on charges of attempted premeditated murder, the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed report.ge.
The investigation established that on January 25, 2021, on the grounds of a dispute near the supermarket "Nikora" in Digomi, an employee of the same store was stabbed in the chest with a cold weapon.
According to the agency, the wounded was taken to the hospital, where the patient underwent surgery. The life of the injured is not in danger.
The fact of attempted premeditated murder is being investigated under Article 19-108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
The offense carries a maximum sentence of 7 to 15 years in prison.
