A pre-trial hearing on the case of investigator regarding 15-year-old Luka Siradze will take place at the Tbilisi City Court today.
Mariana Choloiani's process set for 12:00 PM.
According to the lawyer Archil Shalvashvili, the Court will discuss the issue of detention for the accused at the session.
The Court charged Mariana Choloiani with two episodes of crime under part 1 of Article 335 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies forcing to give testimony by an officer. According to the investigating agency, Choloiani continued to interrogate juveniles by confronting witnesses, which resulted in juvenile psychological stress.
Mariana Choloiani, the investigator at the Didube-Chughureti Police Division, was detained over forcing a 15-year-old minor to give testimony. Luka Siradze,15, who had attempted to take his own life, passed away at Iashvili Children's hospital on 17 December.
