The Prosecutor's Office of Georgia has charged the Inspector of the Security Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia N.Z with abuse of power and violence.
The investigation conducted by the State Inspector's Office revealed that on February 8, 2020, during the methadone replacement therapy process at the Center for Mental Health and Prevention of Addiction in Tbilisi, N.Z., on the grounds of the dispute, physically assaulted the beneficiary of the same center N.D.
The Investigation Department of the State Inspector's Office launched an investigation on July 20, 2020, under Article 333, Part 3, Subparagraph b of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
The Prosecutor's Office of Georgia has already applied to the Tbilisi City Court with a request to apply a measure of restraint against the accused N.Z.
