The Prosecutor's Office of Georgia charged two for attempted murder under aggravated circumstances and illegal purchase, storage, and ownership of firearms and ammunition.

The statement by the Prosecutor's Office reads that after the murder in the Sartichala village of the Gardabani municipality, a man, known only as Z.S., was charged with attempted premeditated murder under aggravated circumstances and illegal storage and ownership of firearms, while another, identified only as Z.M., for attempted murder and unlawful purchase, storage, and ownership of firearms.

The statement goes on to say that on 3 March 2021, in the Sartichala village, Z.M. inflicted gunshot wounds on Z.S. in his head and hand to murder him. The gun was illegally purchased.

Following the incident, wounded Z.S. opened fire on several people in the car, among who was Z.M., to kill one or more of them. One of them, known only as Sh.K., died shortly after hospitalization, while another, known as T.G., survived thanks to timely assistance.

Law enforcement officers detained Z.S. and Z.M on 4 March, according to the statement.
