According to Prosecutor Levan Vepkhvadze, two more people have been arrested in the case of the third President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili.

Vepkhvadze does not talk about additional details.

"Two more people have been arrested for covering up the crime; things will be known to the public soon. All of the details about the route of the convict Mikheil Saakashvili are known to the investigation.

At the same time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs launched an investigation under Article 364 of the Criminal Code, which stipulates the illegal entry of migrants at the state border and the creation of appropriate conditions. Evidence is being collected in this regard, and it is not ruled out that the charges against the accused Tsomaia will be aggravated," said the prosecutor.

Earlier, Elguja Tsomaia was detained, who, according to the accusations, facilitated Mikheil Saakashvili to come to Georgia and hid him. In particular, according to the accusation, he was the owner of the apartment where the ex-president was arrested.
