According to them, the value of the undeclared goods amounted to GEL 10,048.
"The fact of violation got revealed at Batumi Custom Clearance Zone.
Customs officers of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, during the control procedures of the cargo of the citizen of Georgia M.Z., found undeclared goods with a total customs value of GEL 10,048.
Following Article 168, Part I of the Customs Code of Georgia, a fine of GEL 10,048 was imposed on the offender as a sanction," the Revenue Service said in a statement.
