Witness Giorgi Kapanadze has been called to court to answer questions about a European Georgia leader Gigi Ugulava and businessman Alexandre Gogokhia's case. As businessman Kapanadze declared at the court trial, Gigi Ugulava, Davit Kezerashvili, Giorgi Ghoniashvili and Aleksandre Gogokhia were involved in illegal legalization of money. The witness also claimed that in London, he received a threatening letter and was warned against testifying in court. "They wanted me to keep silent. Ugulava and Kezerashvili planned to use that money for elections," Kapanadze said. 

Alexandre Gogokhia and Gigi Ugulava are facing the charges of money laundering and legalization of illegally obtained income. Additionally, Gigi Ugulava has been charged with abuse of power and engaging in group illegal activities organized by him and involving others in these activities by force.
