A woman, 89, has been hospitalized after a family conflict, which left her injured in Akhaltsikhe municipality, Georgia. The senior citizen said that her daughter-in-law and two grandchildren had subjected her to domestic violence.
Doctors said that the woman's health was stable and discharged her shortly after admitting to Akhaltsikhe referral hospital.
Investigators are looking into the case. If charged, perpetrators will be sentenced to community service or from eighty hours to up to two years in prison.
