Tengiz Taktakishvili is the oldest bouquiniste (a secondhand book dealer), who once dreamed of becoming a writer. However, when he left school, he did not even know how to write. Psychiatrists once even diagnosed him as an imbecile.
The bouquiniste was already an adult when he decided to learn reading and writing. Later he realized his dream and wrote a book which was even published in small quantities; however, very few bought the book, and he decided to sell it himself in the street. This was when he was offered to sell old books.
Tengiz Taktakishvili has been a secondhand book dealer for 24 years now, and he loves the job.
