In the city of Cincinnati, USA, locals witnessed a strange scene in a cemetery at night: 5 monkeys climbing a tree. Citizens called the police and filmed the animals. According to law enforcers, the monkeys escaped from a private collector, The Guardian reports.
A local zoo representative was called to the scene, whose spokeswoman Michelle Curley said it was challenging to catch monkeys in the dark.
They assessed the situation on what could be done to return the monkeys to the owner safely.
It should be noted that this is not the first case of animal escape in the state of Ohio. Wild animals escaped from the zoo ten years ago. Forty-nine rare species of animals were killed in an attempt to catch them: including 18 Bengal tigers, 17 lions. Bears, wolves, and baboons were also killed.
