The Ingenuity helicopter will make its sixth flight to Mars next week, reaching 14.5 km/h, while the flight will last more than 2 minutes, Daily Mail reports.

The helicopter will rise to a height of 10 meters above the ground, and then it will increase its height to 50 meters to take photos of the planet from above. The goal of the operation will be a more in-depth study of Mars to determine if life existed there millions of years ago.

The helicopter, along with the Mars Rover, landed on the Red Planet in February 2021. The Mars 2020 Perseverance mission is a small part of NASA's large-scale plan to explore the Moon and Mars, which includes sending humans to both planets in the future.
