Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Zurab Pataridze, has met with the head of the Executive Authority of the City of Baku Eldar Azizov, Report News Agency informs, referring to the Embassy of Georgia to Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, the top officials focused on the prospects of furthering cooperation between Tbilisi and Baku in tourism, culture, economy, and other fields.
The parties saluted the decision on making Tbilisi and Baku twin cities and expressed hope that the corresponding agreement would soon be finalized.
They also made a reference to organizing joint events by the Embassy of Georgian and the Baku City Hall.
