"Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit Georgia, but the date must be agreed first," the Turkish Ambassador to Georgia, Fatma Ceren Yazgan, stated.
The Turkish side is waiting for the Georgian government to agree on the date.
"President Erdoğan was supposed to pay a visit to Georgia in the spring, but a pandemic started, and everything closed. Now we are trying to decide on a date and are waiting for the Georgian government and their schedule. I do not know when this meeting will take place, but I will be honored if the President of my country arrives in Georgia as soon as possible, as the strategic partnership between our countries continues. Erdoğan will visit Georgia, he said at a meeting with the media. I hope it will be possible soon," the Turkish ambassador said.
