The protesters brought sacks filled with wood and sand to the Parliament building. The report.ge journalists reports from the place that the police representatives did not permit the protesters to unload the sacks. According to them it was necessary to check the sacks for explosives. Leaders of European Georgia and National Movement said they needed sand to fortify the tents placed for picketing the entrance of the legislative body.
After a minor incident the police allowed the protesters to unload the sacks but did not let the truck to come close to the building.
The protesters picketed the Parliament entrance in the second half of the day. They say the Constitution gives the right to do it. Starting from tomorrow they will not let the members of the parliament to get into the building.
