Andrius Kubilius, the Member of the European Parliament, thinks that the system, according to which early parliamentary elections will be held in Georgia, depends on the political decision.
Kubilius welcomes dialogue between the opposition and the majority but notes the importance of the agreement. According to him, the most important thing is for the elections to be balanced and proportionate.
"Problems that appeared since the ruling party, or at least part of it refused to keep its promise, was a terrible signal. We see that dialogue provides a way out of this crisis, though, dialogue must have results. This will require some modification of electoral law," Andrius Kubilius said.
