"As a result of the government's systemic response to preventive measures and the legislative support of the parliament, the situation in the country in terms of fighting the pandemic remains stable," the Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia stated.
Archil Talakvadze responded to the situation in the world regarding the pandemic and noted that, unfortunately, the situation in this regard has not improved, and the number of infected people increased.
"I would like to thank the Ministry of Health, the Minister of Health, all doctors, epidemiologists, nurses, and the representatives of the Allied Services who work daily to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
It seems that in this direction we will need special attention in the future as well. The Ministry of Health, the National Center for Disease Control and other services will need to keep the situation safe in the country," Talakvadze said.
