"A political dialogue has started, and this is beneficial for both the country and political parties," Archil Talakvadze, the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, said after the meeting with opposition leaders and representatives of the ruling party.
Talakvadze defined today's meeting as a positive start to political consultations.
"Our great desire is to come to an agreement. Today's meeting, more or less, aimed at this. We have exchanged our arguments today. I want to underscore that the involvement of the U.S. and EU ambassadors in the meeting was paramount," Talakvadze said.
A meeting between the Georgian Dream and the opposition was held at The Residence of the U.S. Ambassador.
