"I think the majority will support Irakli Shotadze's candidacy," Archil Talakvadze, the Chairperson of the Parliament, stated. Talakvadze noted that while holding the position of Prosecutor General, Shotadze, opened many essential cases.
"Many important cases were investigated in a small amount of time, particularly grave crimes, homicide cases, domestic violence offenses, drug and trafficking crimes. When people had questions regarding one of the hardest cases, Irakli Shotadze made a decent decision and resigned," Talakvadze said.
