The European Union Ambassador evaluated the agreement achieved by the opposition and the ruling party as a big deal in favor of people and the country. Carl Hartzell shared his impressions with journalists after the meeting in the US Ambassador’s residence.
According to representatives of the opposition parties and the ruling team, they agreed on a 120/30 model and a 1 percent barrier. They also agreed that the party which gets 40 percent of votes has the right to form the government.
Based on the meeting participants, a four-party memorandum has been signed on the agreed conditions.
