"I will be honest and tell you that we are still facing difficulties where neither side is taking a step that would assure us that we can reach an agreement on which we, as facilitators, are working on," the Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia, Carl Hartzell, stated about it.
He said facilitators are still waiting for a magical space where all parties can reach an agreement.
"Yesterday's decision does not necessarily mean increasing the chances of reaching an agreement. As we know, the majority of the opposition maintains a boycott despite the decision. I think it's important that we also think about how useful the dialogue format will be in the future," said Carl Hartzel.
Yesterday, the majority of the "Georgian Dream" did not terminate the authority of the 51 opposition MPs.
