Chairman of parliament Talakvadze says 'healthy opposition groups' must take steps

Chairman of parliament, Archil Talakvadze, divided Georgia's opposition parties into 'healthy political groups,' who define their function as paramount in building a democratic state and those influential political groups who do not want the agreement to be reached between the government and them.

In Talakvadze's words, representatives of opposition political groups who strive for the power to change hands in Georgia by holding rallies and destabilizing the situation have very few supporters. 'Clearly, the opposition's plan has proved a failure. It is time that the representatives of the opposition who can see things clearly, take steps,'' Talakvadze said.
