The Parliament of Georgia will discuss the transition to proportional electoral system today. Lawmakers will vote on the constitutional amendments drafted by the Parliamentary Majority at the first hearing.
Voting in the Parliament was due to take place yesterday, but was postponed.
The Government decided to hold the 2020 Parliamentary Elections after the June 20-21 rallies. The process of transition to a proportional electoral system began in July. The initiative was presented by the Georgian Dream.
